Stretch and Restore

 

A gentle approach to yoga for beginners or for students who are looking to focus on the stretching and the restorative and relaxation benefits of yoga. The first half of the class will include stretching asanas (yoga poses) which are designed to increases circulation, flexibility, range of motion, and, in turn, improves balance and coordination. The second half of the class will include restorative yoga poses, which are fairly effortless: we use props, bolsters, blocks, and blankets to support the body, unwind, relieve tension and create an overall state of bliss and relaxation.
