Yin yoga is a style of yoga which increases flexibility & mobility of joints by releasing the connective tissue; or fascia. Yin poses are done mostly sitting or lying down on the mat and are held for 2 - 5 minutes. Props are used for support as desired. Yin is a perfect balance for ANY exercise program! (i.e. home exercise, practice in the studio, at the gym, running, walking, etc) Beginner through advanced levels are welcome!
